Avery snatches, Attley crawls

Attley and Avery will be 8 months old in two days.  It's amazing how quickly time goes.  I can't believe my little girls are growing up.  But growing up they are!  Attley is the master of gross motor skills and strength.  She has been "army crawling" and otherwise doing what some people may consider crawling for several weeks now.  But, we feel that she truly "crawled" for the first time last night and has done it countless times today.  We caught her first two "steps" on video, which is below.  Forgive my exuberance in the video--I was pretty darn excited.  Avery is the master of fine motor skills.  That girl can pick a yogurt melt up with her first finger and thumb and get it into her mouth like it is the easiest thing she has ever done.  She is also skilled at snatching toys from Attley.  Attley can snatch them back, but her hand eye coordination is not as keen as Avery's.  That's captured in the second video.  Forgive my commentary.  Joe and I have odd ways of entertaining ourselves by using 80's slang such as "boooo ya" and "oh snap."  Don't judge us.

The girls were also lucky enough to have visits from two sets of their grandparents this month.  Granddad Wallace, Grandma Jena and Aunt Laine came all the way from Texas to see the girls and we had such a great time with them.  Oh how I wish Texas and North Carolina were closer.  The following weekend Granddad Roger and Grandma Sandra came for a visit and the girls enjoyed hanging out with them.  Our girls are lucky to be loved by so many people. I have attached some of the photos from the two visits as well as a few photos that I took yesterday of the girls on the front porch.  We hope you enjoy the videos and the photos!
