Welcome to the jungle...

In the process of raising twins, about 10% of the time, things are chaotic.  During those times, I am often reminded of the Guns N' Roses song, "Welcome to the Jungle."  The following lyrics often jump into my mind...

"Welcome to the jungle we take it day by day..."
"Welcome to the jungle, we got fun 'n' games..."
"Welcome to the jungle it gets worse loud here everyday, you learn to live like an animal in the jungle where we play."

And now that the girls sometimes have "spats," I sometimes wonder if they are thinking "In the jungle, welcome to the jungle, watch it bring you to your kn-kn-knees, knees.  I wanna watch you bleed..."  I mean, honestly, the video below should speak for itself.

Avery also has a new affinity for crawling under furniture.  Much like a jungle monkey, she'll hold onto said piece of furniture and swing herself under it.  Not sure what that fascination is.  See for yourself below (pictured under her crib).

All that said, 90% of the time the girls sweetly play and interact together and our house is nothing like a jungle at all.  The evidence is below--a video of my sweet baby girls playing and laughing together when they woke up one morning this week (I recorded what I was seeing on their video baby monitor).  Sweetest babies ever (90% of the time).
