I have intended to start this blog for some time. In fact, I intended to start it while I was on maternity leave, but never got around to it. I guess I can blame the fact that I my hands were always full of one OR two babies....or I was changing diapers...or I was feeding babies...or I was doing laundry. You get the idea. But now that I am back at work, ironically, I have time to sit at the computer and blog. YAY! I don't know how often I'll get around to it, but I will try to update a few times a month to track the girls' progress and antics.
The girls turned 4 months old on April 28, 2010. Here are the stats from their 4 month check up:
It's hard to believe that Avery only weighs 1 pound more than Attley. It FEELS like there is a bigger difference. Avery is solid as a rock. Attley feels light as a feather. But I saw the numbers on the scale with my own two eyes, so who am I to argue?
The girls are doing GREAT! They sleep 12+ hours a night. Lately, we have had to wake them up in the morning, which is one of our favorite things to do. Here is a video that captures our wake-up and morning routine--we wake the girls up, I nurse them and then we change their diapers and get them dressed for the day. Sounds dull, but it really is one of my favorite times of the day because the girls are so happy in the morning! A special thanks to my friend, Raizel, for the wake-up song (forgive my horrible singing). Several years ago she posted a video of her waking her triplet boys up singing this song and it has been stuck in my head ever since, so now I use it. You don't get the full effect of the girls' glee on this video because they seemed a bit put off by the video camera in front of my face. Anyway, you get the idea. Enjoy! I have also attached some recent photos of the girls taken on Mother's Day. Until next time....
